About Me

About ME

I live near Howden, in the East of Yorkshire with my husband and our dog, Stanley.  I look after my physical health as well as my mental health, as we know that these are closely linked. I enjoy walking and exercising as well as reading a good book.

In 2020 after working in the NHS for over 20 years, I decided to leave and start my independent private practice as a CBT Therapist. As well as a CBT Therapist, I am also a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Being dually trained, gives me a wider knowledge and experience to offer the people I work with.

I am very passionate about helping people who are struggling with psychological and emotional distress. For me this means, improving accessibility, increasing choice and reducing stigma. These values resonate into my private practice and in everything I do.
